How does the childproofing version of the sleek socket provide enhanced protection for children and pets?
The sleek socket childproofing model is designed to make it more difficult for children to gain access to electrical outlets by completely hiding the underlying outlet, and by way of TWENTY (20) large high strength adhesive cord clips covering 96 inches of cord, helps protect children and pets from accessing and chewing electrical cords. The childproofing model includes 16 five inch cord clips and 4 four inch cord clips.
What outlet types is the sleek socket compatible with?
Each sleek socket is compatible with a duplex outlet having both round receptacles (which typically have a single center screw) and rectangular receptacles (which typically have a top & bottom screw), including tamper resistant receptacles.

The Oversize model for every sleek socket model is compatible with all of the following:
- A “standard” outlet cover measuring 2 3/4 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches long
- A “mid-size” outlet cover measuring 3 1/8 inches wide x 4 7/8 inches long
- An “oversize” outlet cover measuring 3 3/8 inches wide x 5 1/16 inches long
(The Oversize model is recommended if you are unsure of the outlet cover sizes in your home or just don’t feel like measuring your outlet covers, as this model is designed to fit all outlet covers sizes currently on the market).
What are the safety specifications of the sleek socket?
The sleek socket products have been designed to conform to the safety specifications of UL, including UL Standard 817 (Safety Cord Sets and Power-Supply Cords) and UL Standard 94 (Standard for Tests for Flammability of Plastic Materials for Parts in Devices and Appliances). Before use, please read the sleek socket packaging documentation and both sides of the label and follow all precautions.
